Safety and cleanliness is a priority and our environment and commitment reflect these values. All needles are sterile for individual use and are fully disposed after each use.

Do you shave the natural brows hairs?

We incorporate as much of the natural brow hairs as possible. Any stray hairs that lay outside of the brows design will be removed.

What is the process?

Please allocate around 2 ~ 3 hours for your appointment.

  1. Consultation and brow design (~30 minutes)

All appointments include a brow consultation where together we will shape and design a set of brows that enhance your natural facial features. We will be using cosmetic pencil, create a design by reshaping your existing brow to help you envision your ideal end result. We will make sure you are 100% satisfy with the shape.

  2. Numbing (~30 minutes)

A topical anesthetic (4% lidocaine ointment) is applied 30 minutes prior to the procedure to ensure maximum comfort during the procedure a separate numbing agent is used to enhance numbing effects.

  3. Tattooing  (60~90 minutes)

Chosen pigment color(s) are implanted in the top dermal layer to create hair like strokes that mimic the appearance of natural brow hair within the designed brow shape.

Does it hurt?

Pain tolerance varies from person to person. Two separate numbing gels are used prior and during the procedure to ensure comfort. It is highly recommended to avoid tattooing during a menstrual cycle because the skin can be hypersensitive. Clients have related the procedure with eyebrow threading, plucking multiple hairs at once, or a light scratching of the skin.

How do I prepare my skin before my appointment?

For the best results, please ensure that the specific area is healthy, moisturized, and free from blemishes prior to your procedure. If the skin area is damaged or “open” it may be best to wait for it to heal first.

Moisturized, calm skin is the best (avoid retinol and exfoliant).

Should I wear makeup the day of my procedure?

If you normally wear makeup, then please do wear makeup. It will give us a better idea of your personal makeup routine and style. If you do not wear makeup, you can come naturally, we will create a look that you are conformable in.

CAN I WEAR MAKEUP AFTER THE PROCEDURE?

You will need to wait at least one week before you can apply your makeup as usual. Keeping the skin clean and free from cosmetics is important during the healing process.

What will it look like and feel like after the procedure?

Redness is very minimal and there are no visible signs of swelling, clients can return to work immediately after the procedure. Any redness will subside within the day. After the numbing wears off, there will slight discomfort, which is described as a sunburn sensation. Immediately after the procedure the brows will appear crisp and dark. As the pigment oxidizes, the brows will look darker for the first 3-5 days. After the scabbing starts peeling, lighter and softer feather strokes will be present. The color will continue to soften for the next 6 weeks.

How long does it take to heal?

It takes about 2 weeks for the superficial layers of skin to close and heal. Deeper dermal layers of the skin will take up to 6-8 weeks to fully heal. The first 3-5 days will appear dark (especially for light skin and light haired clients). Light peeling will start around day 4 or 5, which will reveal much lighter and softer hair strokes.

How long will it last?

Result will last 1-3 years depending on, lifestyle, sun exposure, and skin type.

Do I need a touch up?

A majority of clients require 2 sessions to have their brows perfected. The first touchup is done 2-3 months after the first session to perfect the brows and add density.

Results will vary from person to person depending on skin type and color used. Individuals may require 2 sessions to perfect their brows. Not all clients need or desire a touchup. It is less likely that a touch up will be required for a client that has fuller brows. Clients with little or no natural brow hairs, or have corrected work may need additional touchups.

How often are touchups needed?

6 month to a year touchup is highly recommended to maintain brow tattoos. It is ultimately up to the client to decide when it is time for a touchup. There are a few touchup options: 6 months, 9 months, or a year. Oilier skin types will tend to fade quicker than drier skin types. Long-term aftercare is crucial to the longevity of your brow investment.
