Checking in

We want to make sure that you’re comfortable through every step of your eyebrow transformation.

Consultation

Your desired shape, color and density will be discussed.

Brow Shaping

We will draw the perfectly shaped eyebrows for your face based on your facial features.

Numbing

A topical anesthetic is applied for 20 to 30 minutes to minimize discomfort during the procedure.

Paperwork

While your skin is numbing, you’ll review and sign consent forms, followed by completing a brief medical history to ensure the microblading procedure won’t interfere with your overall well being.

During

A sterile, single-use needle will be used and properly disposed of after use. Ink is implanted into your skin by making microstrokes that resemble hair.

We uphold hygienic practices up to par with the Health Code of the State of California
.

The actual procedure takes approximately 90 minutes.

You will be numbed with a high-quality anesthetic agent throughout the procedure for maximum comfort.

After

The final and the most important step for microblading care is the aftercare or microblading post care.

You may go about your daily routine as usual following the procedure except for the following:

No sweating or water (bathing, recreational water activities, gardening, or contact with animals) in the affected area for 2 weeks.

It’s imperative that you keep the area moisturized and protected. Apply balm consistency and constantly (5 times a day or as needed for 2 consecutive weeks).

3 things can be use on the brow areas:

  • moisturizers
  • oil (grape seed, coconut, etc)
  • protectant balm (a+d, sunscreen)

No exfoliants, acid-based products, facial, steam, drying area out, excessive sun. The brows will be the most intense the day immediately following the procedure. The hair stroke lines appear thinner right after the procedure when the incisions are fresh, then become more prominent as the ink "settles" into the skin as it heals. The true color will reveal itself when it is fully healed and peeled. Some people peel and some people do not. The only way to ensure that the brow area is fully healed is to follow the aftercare for 14 days.

The eyebrows may start to peel or "shed" in the first or second week after the procedure. DO NOT PEEL the scabs off, as this may remove the pigment along with it. If it gets itchy, use your knuckles to press on it gently to alleviate itchiness. If pigment comes off with the dead skin this is normal (it may appear as "hair strokes" coming off). If some color comes off onto Q-tip while applying balm this is normal as well.

If there is minimal retention (less than 75% retention), this means that there is an issue with the condition of your skin. Most likely your skin is DRY and dehydrated. You are responsible for reading the website and asking any questions prior to coming into the session for your procedure. We provide 3 opportunities to keep yourself informed: via the website, on the aftercare sheet, and during the session. Please make sure you give yourself the optimal conditions to heal properly so that you can have beautiful results, which is what we want for you.

The brow will appear darker the next day. This effect will soften as the brows "peel and heal." You may or may not peel depending on your skin. Some people may have a reaction where their skin tints the ink a reddish tone. Wait until the brow is completely healed to see the true color embedded into the skin.

Signs and symptoms of infection include, but not limited to, severe redness, swelling, tenderness of the procedure site, red streaks going from the procedure site towards the heart, elevated body temperature, or purulent drainage from the procedure site. Discharge from site may be green/yellow in color and foul in odor.
